Lunch and Activities for Seniors

The Gaston Adult Nutrition Program invites anyone who is 60 years old or older and a Gaston County resident to join the Bessemer City Group Meal site for lunch. A nutritious lunchtime meal and daily activities that are fun and informational are offered everyday Monday – Friday beginning at 10:45 AM at the Bessemer City Community Building, 220 N. 14th Street, Bessemer City. To apply, call Gaston County Department of Social Services, Adult Services Division at 704 862-7540.

To reserve a picnic shelter or ball field, call the Gaston County Parks and Recreation Department. Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis.
