Buy an armband and ride all day! The festival’samusement ride armbands give children and adults unlimited access to the amusement attractions. Armbands cost $5.00 for the Family Fun Nighton Friday. Armbands cost $12.00 for Saturday.Individual tickets also are available.

Friday May 9 Bessemer City’s Down Home Festival has been extended to Friday night (May 9) and Saturday (May 10) this year. The Summer Daze Band will play for the Friday night street dance from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. During that time there will be Hot Air Balloon Rides sponsored by the Gondola Italian Restaurant.
A fireworks display, sponsored by Piedmont Paving and Carolina Grading and Landsite Development, will take place at 9:00 PM. Friday night is family night and armbands will be discounted for ride and amusements brought to the festival by Palmetto Amusement Company. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy all the Friday night events.
Saturday May 10 On Saturday the festival is open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM and features all the usual food, fun, rides, crafts, bands and entertainment as enjoyed in the past.
