Bessemer City Merchants Association Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Angel Autry, Donna Conlon, Sunny Bolick, Melba Kiser, Otis Whitehurst.

The association members met after the small town main street meeting at City Hall.

The following future events were discussed:

Bessemer City High School is sponsoring “A Night Out Hunger and Homeless Awareness” event November 16 with the help of BCMA. We need a donation for hot dogs . all proceeds go to the 2ND Harvest food bank.
On December 2nd at 4:30 pm, Bessemer City is holding the Christmas parade followed by the Christmas in the city event on Pennsylvania Avenue. BCMA is going to pop corn to give away. BCMA will also sponsor a tractor pulled hay ride and Santa's land. We need need volunteers to help and a big chair for Santa.
The history & arts society is sponsoring the 14th annual tour of homes December 3rd , from 3 pm until 8 pm. Tickets are on sale at Central Drug.
BCMA is sponsoring a Valentines Sweetheart dinner for two $50.00 per couple at Angel's loft on Saturday evening, February 11 at 7 pm with dancing, dinner, and wine from Dennis wines.
